One Week In- Pre Order Training

I am learning that being a business owner is an emotional roller coaster.  You have this concept that becomes like your child and it is all you can think about doing and growing and sharing... but at the end of the day it's just lunch!  And I understand that too.  I am changing my plan so that everyone pre-orders the day before delivery.  Last week I had a lot of well intentioned customers but just too many leftovers, and as happy as I am to deliver to the Metro Food Bank, I can't make a living doing that.  This has slowed things drastically.  I mean, who really wants to plan ahead?!  But then there is a light at the end of the tunnel and other customers are starting to email me with tomorrow's lunch orders and they give me hope!  So much hope!  I knew that even though what I wanted to do most was make good food to share with people, sales is still at the heart of my success.  Thank you to all the early believers~
